He holds a Diploma in Commercial Banking (L.I.B.SA) from the Institute of Bankers (I.O.B), a Bookkeeping Diploma with the Institute of Bookkeepers, Banking Certificate (I.O.B), Economics I and II and Financial Accounting 1&2 (UNISA)
He did the following short Courses:

- Financing Small Business ( United States Agency for International Development)
He worked for the following banks, MEEG Bank, African Bank and NedBank where he started as an Admin Clerk and ended his banking career as a Business Credit Analyst and Business Credit Manager.
After leaving the banking sector he became Executive Chairperson of Yebo Co-operative Limited, where in partnership with DGRV (German Co-operative Federation) was involved in facilitating and setting up of necessary structures to promote co-operative business model in South Africa amongst previously disadvantaged.
They also engaged the DTI and other state organs to shape the Co-operative Banks Act 40, of 2007 and the Co-operative Act 14, of 2005.
Afterwards he became a Co-operative Promoter Consultant to the DGRV heading the National Association of Co-operative Financial Institutions of South Africa(NACFISA) which is offering support services to SMMEs and communities who want to organize themselves and establish Co-operative Banks in their townships and villages.
He also assisted established Co-operative Financial Institutions and Co-operative Banks affiliated to NACFISA to comply with requirements of Co-operative Banks Development Agency (CBDA) and National Credit Regulator and organize required training for them.
He is currently an Executive Director a Menziwa La Siyathuthuka Co-operative Limited He co-ordinates cooperation amongst SMMEs with a vision to build competitive strategies for survival and growth. He also facilitates the formation of SMME driven co-operative banking to facilitate healthy and sustainable funding mechanism for SMME development.
